One of only a handful of Filipinos to garner a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Alvin has helped increase awareness and the popularity of the sport. He has also pioneered the highly popular Mixed Martial Art tournament, URCC; in which he created without the intention of personally fighting to showcase himself but rather, give young Mixed Martial Artists a venue to shine.
